WELCOME TO MARKET CROSS SURGERY

 

URGENT CORONAVIRUS ADVICE

If you have returned to the UK from any of these areas in the last 14 days:

China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Macau

or have been in contact with someone confirmed as having Coronavirus in the last two weeks, you may be at risk of Coronavirus.

Please do NOT leave the house. Instead, ring 111. 

  • Do not attend your GP Surgery, Work, School or Public Areas
  • Avoid visitors in your home
  • Avoid using public transport or taxis

Symptoms to look out for are a Cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever, difficulty breathing

APPOINTMENT SYSTEM :

 

Routine Morning Appointments

 

Routine appointments are opened up 14 DAYS IN ADVANCE  which will mean that every day, a number of routine appointments will be available to book.  This will enable patients with routine medical problems to see the Doctor of their choice

 

Emergency Appointment Slots 

Will be available every morning.  These will be booked on a first come, first served basis and will be booked as the next available Doctor's slot.  You CANNOT CHOOSE which Doctor you will see, as an emergency problem can be dealt with by a ANY Doctor

 

Please only use the THE EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS for URGENT MEDICAL PROBLEMS

 

 

Once all of the emergency appointments for the day have been filled, you will be added to the telephone triage list, and a Clinician will ring you back

Flu Vaccines are still available; please contact our Reception Team for further details and to book an appointment

BANK HOLIDAY CLOSURES

The next Bank Holiday period will be Easter.  The Surgery will be closed on the following days over this period

Monday 13th April 2020

 

Please ensure that you have enough of your regular medication/s to cover this period by ordering in good time to allow collection prior to the above closure.

PAOur dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment (please ask at reception for access details to enable use of the on-line services through the Patient Access link).  Click on the brown Patient Access link to the right of this message to access the system.

This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

Our Patient Participation Group Meetings take place at the Surgery between 7.00 - 8.30pm.  The following dates have been arranged for 2020.  If you are interested in becoming a member of the PPG please contact our Reception Team
