APPOINTMENT SYSTEM CHANGES - MARCH 2019
We have listened to patients regarding their dissatisfaction about the current morning appointment system
We have therefore made the decision to change the system to enable patients with routine medical problems to see the Doctor of their choice
Routine Morning Appointments
Will be made available form Monday 18th March 2019
These will be opened up 14 DAYS IN ADVANCE which will mean that every day, a number of routine appointments will be available to book
Emergency Appointment Slots
Will be available every morning. These will be booked on a first come, first served basis and will be booked as the next available Doctor's slot. You CANNOT CHOOSE which Doctor you will see, as an emergency problem can be dealt with by a ANY Doctor
Please only use the THE EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS for URGENT MEDICAL PROBLEMS
Once all of the emergency appointments for the day have been filled, you will be added to the telephone triage list, and a Clinician will ring you back
IF YOUR EMERGENCY IS LIFE THREATENING, YOU MAY CONSIDER CALLING 999 INSTEAD
****IF YOU NO LONGER NEED YOUR APPOINTMENT, PLEASE LET RECEPTION KNOW ***
